Spicy Shrimp with Rice
Ingredients
15 - 20 medium shrimps, shelled (less if large shrimp) (can use small shelled shrimps) | 1 stick of butter
3 tablespoons pickling spice | Rice for 4 servings
Preparation time: 15 minutes (or more to shell shrimp)
Directions
Cook the rice and let sit. Shell the shrimp and set aside. In a pan (large enough to hold the shrimp), melt the butter over medium heat and add the pickling spice. Heat spice for 7 - 10 minutes. Or until spice starts to pop. Using a slotted spoon, scoop out the bulk of the pickling spice from the butter and discard. Add shrimps to the butter and cook over medium heat until done, (Heat till hot if using cooked shrimp). Serve shrimp and butter over rice.
